Critic tasting note: "The Adrianna VIneyard was planted in the first half of the 1990s, 1,450 meters above sea level at the foot of the Andes in an area of Gualtallary known as Monasterio, and today those plants are one of Argentina's primary sources of whites. This Stones comes precisely from a soil of alluvial origin, rich in stones "painted" with calcium carbonate. The nose is fruity, with touches of sweet white fruit and mineral tones that are almost saline. The palate is big and impressive for its strength and that salinity, which becomes much more evident (a percentage of the wine was aged under a veil of flor) and combines with the fruity flavors, adding additional complexity. The acidity is especially severe in this year’s Stones, a white that tends to be riper and more succulent than its brother, White Bones. Here, the acidity has given it a delicious verticality. A wine to drink now—or in another 10 years." - 97/100, Patricio Tapia - Descorchados
