It was planted in 2009 on soils with calcium carbonate that covers the stones in some parts and is compacted in others. According to Juan Pablo Michelini, this vineyard yields herbal and wild notes, although it's mostly reflected in the texture. And what a texture it has. The tannins grip the palate tightly, latching on with that chalky sensation typical of these soils rich in calcium carbonate. The rest is about red fruits, herbal and floral tones, and acidity as sharp as the tannins.
