The iconic pair of easy chairs designed by Warren Platner for Knoll in 1966 is a stunning example of masterful craftsmanship and functional beauty. Using curved steel rods, Platner welded together circular and semi-circular frames to create these chairs as both structure and ornament. Though trained as an architect and known for his architectural contributions, it was his furniture collection for Knoll that solidified his worldwide fame. Platner's refined and theatrical designs, known for their liberal use of color, have become synonymous with modern furniture. Though in good, used condition, these chairs can be reupholstered by our experienced in-house restoration team before shipping to ensure they retain their value and are ready for many more years of use.
