The Platner collection was initially envisioned by Warren Platner back in 1962, but it took four years of intensive development by Knoll before it was finally launched in 1966. Composed of undulating nickel-plated rods that exude an ethereal lightness reminiscent of the work of Harry Bertoia and Eero Saarinen, both of whom are Knoll Alumni, this table boasts an immaculate nickel base and an original, dark glass top that has only minor scratches and one chip on the underside, as shown in the accompanying images. Overall, it is a highly desirable piece that is sure to impress.
