This is a set of twenty dining chairs designed by Vladimir Kagan in the 1950s. The chairs were made with stainless steel frames and have recently been professionally reupholstered with soft ivory bouclé. The set is rare and was created during Kagan's partnership with textile designer/printmaker Hugo Dreyfuss in New York City that spanned ten years. The set contains sixteen side chairs and four armchairs, all in excellent condition. The chairs are timeless and possess the distinctive Kagan "WOW" factor. The frames are sleek and impressive, and the upholstery is highly durable. The armchairs measure 32" H x 24" D x 22.5" W with an arm height of 24.5" H, while the side chairs measure 32" H x 24" D x 18" W with a seat height of 19" H. Custom reupholstery is available for an extra fee.
