These Italian mid-century armchairs, known as model Carimate and designed by VIco Magistretti for Country Club Carimate, are a set of two. They feature an aniline-stained beechwood frame and a straw seat, and were produced by Comi, Artemide, and finally, Cassina in Italy during the 1960s. The design is featured in Giuliana Gramigna's Repertory of Italian Design 1950-2000, Volume 1, on page 78. Please note that these items are originals from their time period, and as such, show normal signs of age and use, which only adds to their charm.
