This ceiling lamp, created by the renowned Italian designer VIco Magistretti in 1961 for Artemide, features five exquisite double diffuser glass shades in opal glass and brushed metal. Known as the PENTACLINIO model, it is illustrated in the Repertorio del Design Italiano on page 91, thus attesting to its significance in the world of design. It was also featured in the Artemide Catalogue in 1973. Magistretti, a celebrated architect and furniture designer, was known for his collaboration with Ernesto Nathan Rogers, and his knack for creating mass-produced furniture and appliances for companies like Cassina. In 1986, he was awarded the prestigious Gold Medal of the Chartered Society of Industrial Artists & Designers.
