In 1977, VIco Magistretti designed a table lamp that is now known as the Atollo and manufactured by Oluce in Italy. This lamp has become a classic piece of Italian design, winning the prestigious Compasso d'Oro award in 1979 and transforming the way we think about bedside lamps. The lamp is composed of geometric shapes, including a cylinder, cone, and hemisphere, creating a decorative yet essential design that is timeless and iconic. The lamp is made of metal satin gold and measures D 25 cm x W 25 cm x H 35 cm. It requires 2 x max 40 W (E14) bulbs and is wired for Europe. If used in the US or another country, the client will need to convert it. Oluce, founded in 1945, is the oldest Italian design company in the lighting sector still in operation today.
