The chair is composed of two parts: a bowl-shaped top and a cylindrical foot crafted from electrogalvanized stainless steel wire. These components can be attached using clips to create a floor-standing version, while the bowl-shaped top can also be used independently and hung from the ceiling. The chair boasts seven removable seat cushions covered in gray woolen fabric, each with its unique design. This piece has been featured in numerous publications, including Op to Pop by Cara Greenberg and The Collected Works exhibited at the VItra Design Museum. Verner Panton, a Danish designer and architect who currently resides in Switzerland, has established himself as a leading figure in the industry thanks to his innovative and futuristic designs utilizing new technologies and materials. Panton studied at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen and previously worked with Arne Jacobsen before opening his design office in 1955.
