Verner Panton designed an impressive installation called the SPIEGEL Wall or Floor Lamps, consisting of eighteen separate lamps that can be mounted individually or as part of a larger system. The lamp became well known due to its inclusion in Panton's interior design of Der Spiegel Publishing House in Hamburg in 1969. This avant-garde piece is perfect for modern contemporary homes and can be used to create a single striking statement or a grand architectural installation. The lamp has a square shape with a circular recess in the center for the light source, and a hemispherical shade to soften the light and reduce glare. This lamp not only functions as a light source but also doubles as a sculptural and architectural work of art. The brushed aluminum finish is available for purchase.
