The Verner Panton-designed 10-piece Pantonova modular sofa, created in 1971, is now available for purchase. The seating was featured in the 1977 James Bond film "The Spy Who Loved Me." The wire furniture series boasts parallel wire rods with open sides and was initially designed for the Varna restaurant in Arhus, DK. This serial production model allows for individual or connected fixed upholstery, making it highly versatile. The seating is accompanied by shelving systems, tables, and accessories. X Design in Denmark produced this rare black anodized production in the late 1970s, with the previous owner purchasing it in 1978. The set comes complete with its original Ox blood Red Kvadrat Tonus fabric seating pads, but also looks great without them. It consists of 5 straight seating elements, 2 corner seating elements, a round table with a smoked glass top, and 2 lower tables that can be arranged to make curves in the set. Dimensions are available upon request, so why not consider adding this stunning and unique modular sofa to your collection today?
