The DS-21's metal frame encloses the individual cushion volumes, creating an architectural structure that appears weightless. To counterbalance the frame's clean lines, the opulent elements function as modules that can be moved around. This seating range comes in various upholstery combinations, including leather or fabric covers, and three distinct frame widths with matte black or high-gloss chrome-plated metal legs. Also included is an armchair, complemented by coffee tables and side tables with glass tops. Stephan Hürlemann, a Zurich-based architect, designed this floating sculpture that seems to have always been there. Despite this, its proportions feel new and inviting, mixing classic and modern styles. The DS-21's architectural structure merges an informal seating landscape with magnificent high legs. It's made from select hazel nappa leather (lightly pigmented), 1.2 to 1.4 mm thick, that undergoes meticulous processing and visible ageing, providing it with an endearing patina. It measures 236 W x 84 D x 69 H cm, with a 43 cm seat height and a 61 cm armrest height.
