The Renault Clio I, also known as the first generation Clio, is a small family car manufactured by the French automaker Renault from 1990 to 1998. It replaced the Renault 5 and was initially available as a 3-door hatchback, with a 5-door version added later. The Clio I had a distinctive, rounded design with a sloping front end and wide grille. It was available in a range of bright colors, including red, blue, green, and yellow. Under the hood, there were several engine options available, including a 1.1-liter petrol engine, a 1.2-liter and 1.4-liter petrol engine, and a 1.9-liter diesel engine.
