Seizing the opportunity to bring one of his long-held concepts to life, Ronnie Fieg introduced the Ronnie Fieg x Puma XT-2 "Achromatic-Black" in the summer of 2014. Straying away from traditional branding, Fieg aimed to focus solely on the design and quality of the shoe. Crafted from premium Italian leathers, the Black Achromatic XT2 boasted a luxuriously soft upper and sock liner, setting it apart from other Puma models. The shoes were presented in a custom Puma box with leather dust and lace bags, and included two sets of tonal laces with metal aglets. Sporting a sleek all-black upper with contrasting white mid and outsoles, the versatile design of the Black RF Achromatic XT-2 made it a standout piece. Despite the high-end materials used, the shoes were surprisingly affordable at $180 and were sold as part of a pack with a white pair at select Kith locations and online. Limited quantities were also available at Dover Street Market.
