Taking inspiration from the unassuming axe handle, Poul Henningsen has ingeniously incorporated its familiar and tangible shape to form the legs of this versatile table. Artfully designed with the fundamental values that motivated its creation, the table serves multiple purposes within its environment- be it as an occasion table, a workstation, a display or meeting table, or simply for daily use. With its sturdy structure and eight legs, the PH Axe Table is adaptable to various scenarios and can be ordered with legs made of natural oak or black oak, while the tabletop can be chosen in laminate, black oak or natural oak finishes. An additional feature includes a removable wood cover in the middle of the table top, allowing for the installation of the PH 3 ¬Ω - 2 ¬Ω Table Lamp in a unique construction with a cable outlet beneath the frame that can be plugged into the pre-fitted cable concealed in one of the table legs. The PH Lamp is available in an assortment of colors such as green, red, yellow and white, making it both functional and visually appealing to further accentuate the distinctive design of this unique piece of furniture originally conceptualized by PH back in the 1950s.
