Taking inspiration from the modest axe handle, Poul Henningsen has ingeniously incorporated this familiar and tactile shape into the legs of a versatile table. This furniture embodies the fundamental principles that drove its designer, being functional in multiple environments - serving as an occasional table, a workstation, a display stand, a meeting table, and useful for everyday purposes. The PH Axe Table boasts a solid structure, supported by eight legs. The table legs come in natural oak or black oak, and the table plate in laminate, black oak, or natural oak. Additionally, the table can be fitted with a removable wood cover, with the provision for adding a PH 3 ½ - 2 ½ Table Lamp in a special construction, featuring a cable outlet below the frame that may be plugged into the pre-installed cable hidden within one of the table legs. The PH Lamp is available in several colors, including green, red, yellow, and white. This unique piece of furniture, designed by PH in the early 1950s, is accentuated by the functional value added by the PH Lamp.
