This Art Deco credenza or bar cabinet designed by Pierre Paulin for Baker Furniture in 1984 is an exceptional and highly sought-after piece. The stunning bird's-eye maple wood grain, highlighted with walnut inlays in Paulin's signature motif, is a testament to the highest quality craftsmanship expected from Baker Furniture. With lockable drawers and an original key included, this credenza has been refinished and is in excellent condition. In the mid-1980s, Paulin designed an elite collection of furniture for Baker, inspired by his work at the Elysee Palace for French Presidents Pompidou and Mitterand. The resulting venture was costly, making the Paulin pieces exceedingly rare and highly prized. Measuring at 90"W x 20"D x 30.75"H, this impressive piece is sure to enhance any space.
