These Three Flower Chairs, designed by Pierre Paulin, are rare museum quality pieces in their original condition with a charming antique appearance. They feature a manufacturer stamp under the base and have a captivating design. Although the chairs show signs of wear such as stains, scratches, and paint loss, they remain valuable and unique. The material used to make the chairs has experienced age-related cracking, causing them to be vulnerable. However, these cracks are clearly presented in the included photos. The chairs come with a registration number (Nr. 0192373) and were made by Boro 8810 in Belgium. This ABS plastic organic chair designed by Pierre Paulin and produced by Boro Belgium is one of the most stunning chairs out there. Originally designed for outdoor use in 1972, the 8810 model flower chair became an extremely rare and highly sought-after piece of plastic design history due to the oil crisis that hit Europe in the early 1970s. As a result of rising plastic production costs, mass production of injected molded plastic designs decreased or stopped altogether.
