These two chairs were custom-designed for the administrative building in Chandigarh, and crafted by Pierre Jeanneret, a relative of Corbusier. They have since journeyed from Punjab University in India to a private collection in Paris. In 1960, they were made from teak and measure 22 inches wide, 23.75 inches deep, and 31.5 inches high. A book titled "Le Corbusier Pierre Jeanneret: The Indian Adventure, Design-Art-Architecture" by Touchaleaume and Moreau features these chairs on page 562.
