This exquisite piece is a solid teak armchair adorned with a delightful yellow fabric covering the slightly inverted backrest, seatback, and armrests. Its flat profiled legs are made of the same teak wood and are connected by two support rails underneath the seat. This unique armchair also features detached padded sleeves of the "roller" type for added comfort. It was originally created in 1958-1959 and had been used in various administrative buildings of Chandigarh including the Penjab University, sector 14, Student Residences (1959) and High Court (1960).
