This is a vintage collector's item, guaranteed to be authentic, which is currently up for sale. The piece in question is a stool dating back to around 1960. Its concave seat is made from solid teak and is supported by a glossy grey iron rod. It was produced by the P.U Scientific department. For reference, Eric Touchaleaume and Gerald Moreau's "Le Corbusier Pierre Jeanneret - L'Aventure Indienne, Design Art Architecture" (Ed. Gourcuff Gradenigo/Eric Touchaleaume, Paris, 2010) includes a similar model with a variant reference, PJ-SI-57-A.
