This exquisite collection of six armchairs is a rare find, designed by Pierre Jeanneret and bearing the model name PJ-SI-28-B. Crafted from teak, cane, and upholstery, these chairs were created in France/India in 1953. Previously owned by Punjab University, they are now part of an important private collection in New York. Their timeless elegance is celebrated in the book titled "Le Corbusier Pierre Jeanneret, The Indian Adventure, Design-Art-Architecture", authored by Touchaleaume and Moreau.
