This fabulous set includes a sofa and two X-leg chairs that are simply magnificent. The unique X-shape design of the legs is a signature feature of the celebrated architect Pierre Jeanneret's work for Chandigarh, which can be seen on a variety of objects. While there is also a similar type with A-legs, this particular set is truly rare and special. The chairs feature a beautifully patinated teak wood, which imbues them with a unique character and showcases their age and uniqueness. Moreover, they are historical pieces from an UNESCO World Heritage site, meticulously crafted by one of the most important architects of the 20th century. We take great care not to over-restore these pieces, preferring to maintain their historical importance and individuality. This approach is crucial as there are many fake pieces in the market.
