This is a solid teak and braided cane high round stool, model PJ-SI-21-A. It features a circular seat with a teak and canework frame and dates back to circa 1965. The stool has been softly restored, with all the wooden parts being authentic and only the cane redone. Further photos are available on request. AUTHENTICITY: We only sell genuine Mid-century items. Our gallery owner handpicks each piece from India himself, and we buy them in an unrestored state to ensure all indicators of authenticity are visible. All the wooden components are original, and we do not replace any damaged parts with new ones or from other Jeanneret pieces. The patina is a significant aspect, and our restorations aim to preserve as much of it as possible. Characteristics like old cracks, multiple layers of scratches, worn lacquer marks, beam distortions, or wood oxidation from human touch are all essential markers of authenticity.
