This was particularly unusual during the time it was created. The chair has a frame-like structure, with rams that are highly characteristic. It is elegant, thin, and fragile, yet precise and comfortable to sit on thanks to the curved backseat. Out of all the Chandigarh objects, this chair holds a specific position due to its unique aesthetic. At our gallery, we sell only authentic mid-century objects sourced directly from India by the owner of the gallery. We purchase all objects unrestored, allowing important indicators of authenticity to remain visible such as old cracks, layers of scratches, and worn lacquer. We do not replace damaged parts with new ones or swap them with pieces from other damaged Jeanneret items. We understand the importance of preserving the patina of each object, and during restoration, we take great care to maintain as much as possible. We issue a Certificate of Authenticity to guarantee the authenticity of all our items.
