These Pierre Jeanneret office chairs are a truly remarkable collection. They boast a beautiful solid teak construction with distinctive compass style legs and a cane seat and cane seat back. The backrests are slanted and slightly curved for a comfortable sitting experience. The chairs are adorned with hand stenciling on the back that reads "ASM, (L) -006" and "ASM, (L) -004" respectively. These chairs are sourced directly from India and have never before hit the open market for sale. Interestingly, each chair has stenciling that designates its location in Chandigarh, where they were originally made for university housing in Sector 14. We have before and after photos of the careful restoration process, which was performed by skilled artisans in India who specialize in Pierre Jeanneret furniture. The chairs also come with new cushions for added comfort. Please note that the last 4 images in the listing are of the chairs before their restoration. These wonderful chairs are available for purchase individually and come with a seat height without cushion of 18".
