This is a "Office Cane Chair" designed by Pierre Jeanneret in approximately 1955. It is considered a valuable vintage collector's item with authentic origins. The chair features a non-detachable back and seat, and is made of durable teak and cane materials. This particular piece comes from Chandigarh, India, and was used in various administrative buildings, including the Architects' Office (1956), Secretariat (1958), and Punjab University. Two similar models can be found in the Swiss National Museum in Zurich.
