This is an extraordinary ensemble of lounges and easy chairs by Pierre Jeanneret. Each chair, model PJ-SI-29-A, is crafted from solid teak with compass-style legs and a cane seat and backrest. The back of both chairs is adorned with hand stenciling, Ch.L.(P)-063 and Ch.L.(P)-033 respectively, denoting their original placement in Chandigarh. These remarkable pieces were sourced directly from India and have never been available for purchase on the open market. They were custom made for the administrative buildings and university residences in Sector 14. All images, including before-and-after restoration photos, are included with the collection. The restoration work was performed by artisans in India esteemed for their mastery of Pierre Jeanneret pieces, featuring new cushions and cane. Please note that the final four images depict the chairs before the restoration. Each of the four chairs is available individually, and the seat height measures 14.5 inches without cushions.
