In 1955-56, Pierre Jeanneret crafted a daybed in Chandigarh, India consisting of a teak frame with a natural finish and a cushion upholstered in a natural linen color. The piece is referenced in 'Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, Chandigarh, India' by Galerie Patrick Seguin, Paris, 2014 on pages 212-213 and 285. The daybed was initially created for Pendjab University in Chandigarh, India and subsequently acquired by a private collector in Paris.
