Paul Evans and Dorsey Reading created this unique and certified custom piece for the Paul Evans Studio around 1970. The item, which is part of the 'Sculptured Metals Collection', serves as both a bench and a storage cabinet and is highly versatile and functional. One can place it around a coffee table as bench seating or wrap it around a corner wall to provide seating on both sides. This exceptional item fits perfectly in a blank corner with two different facing sides. It can also become a custom console table or credenza by constructing a base for it, using lucite or steel. The item is made from heavy steel panels that are welded together in a creative style and corresponds with other Paul Evans designs. The bench features two cabinet doors, showcasing the signature Paul Evans designs. The bench seats can be separated for transportation and reassembled easily. The new owner will receive a Certificate of Authenticity from Dorsey Reading, confirming its authenticity.
