Paul Evans, a renowned American furniture designer, sculptor, and artist, is well-known for his significant contributions to American furniture design and the American Craft Movement that emerged in the 1970s. We are thrilled to present Evan's Cityscape coffee table, crafted from stunning and scarce black steel. The substantial form of the table resembles a hash-tag, with a surface made from a patchwork of steel plates over a wooden frame. This unique piece was handmade in the United States during the 1970s and is signed as "An Original Paul Evans." As for its condition, there is light wear and tear throughout, including scratches, oxidization, indentations, and ghost spots. These flaws can be observed in bright light, but the dark tone of the table masks them effectively. Additionally, a 42" diameter 1/2" thick glass has been recently added to enhance the table's appeal. The base of the table measures 30 1/8" wide square x 15" high (without glass), while the glass that comes with it measures 42". Overall, this is a magnificent piece that will add a touch of elegance to any space it occupies.
