This exceptional 1970 dining table, bearing the signature (PE70), is in impeccable condition. We are convinced that this is one of the finest exemplars of this type of dining table on the 1st Dibs platform or available anywhere. We have not observed any nicks, scratches, gouges, or other imperfections. The table's surface looks as if it was ordered straight from the Directional Showroom if it were new. Once you place this dining table in your home, you will comprehend why Paul Evans executed this skyscraper design. At various times of the day, when natural sunlight casts its rays on the towering base blocks, you can observe a constantly changing facade of bronze color. The color changes from deep, dark bronze on one side to a darker bronze on the other. We attempted to capture this effect on camera; please view all the photos. At Fritz and Hollander, we scour the market to locate the best pieces for our clients. This particular item was acquired from a collector of delicate taste in New York. The base alone measures 65-inches in width, 25-inches in depth, and 29-inches in height. Please refer to the complete dimensions, including the glass, in this listing. The glass measures 3/4-inches in thickness. As an aside about the design of this piece, we could envisage it serving as a desk for a fashion designer, decorator, or a modern company executive.
