These exceptional patchwork chairs on castors are a truly one-of-a-kind find, boasting a set of four original and signed Paul Evans for Directional pieces. Made with patinated brass and welded and enameled steel bases, these chairs are as stylish as they are practical. Upholstered in original leatherette, they are comfortable and sturdy, showcasing the legendary Evans styling and construct. These chairs have been carefully procured and have been in my personal collection since I purchased them from Rago Arts and Auction Center, lot 899, in February 2011. While showing appropriate minor wear, including light oxidation, the chairs remain in original condition with soft, comfortable seat padding and a hefty build.
