This incredible design crafted by Paul Evans showcases a "Deep Relief" Brutalist sideboard that commands attention. The welded and polychromed steel doors, in stunning shades of red, gold, green, and bronze, feature a vertical fragment relief structure that separates the four doors, complete with a striking center bronze design. The tactile design is truly remarkable and highlighted by a stunning range of colors. The top of the sideboard boasts three slate panels with varying inlays, combined with a nailed metal surface. Evans' unmistakable signature is present on the side of one door, reading "Paul Evans 69". This remarkable piece is considered the finest sideboard on the market from this highly desirable designer at present. Purchased by its current owner from Paul Evans Studio in 1970, this item was crafted in 1969.
