Michel Ducaroy created this sofa for Ligne Roset in the 1970s, after devoting 26 years to the design department. His most iconic design, the Togo sofa, was inspired by a tube of toothpaste folded in on itself. The Togo comes in a variety of styles, including two-seater, three-seater, ottoman, fireside chair, and corner. It won the René-Gabriel Prize for being the first sofa made entirely of foam. Ligne Roset continues to exclusively produce the Togo sofa, which consists of a polyester foam structure covered in fabric or leather. The bottom of the sofa comes in three patterns: fully branded Ligne Roset, grooves, and interval stripe and Ligne Roset logo. The available stickers include pimps, yellow, white, and blacks. The foam is composed of three densities: polyether 21 kg/m3 - 3.2 kPa, polyether 28 kg/m3 - 4.8 kPa, and high resilience polyurethane 26 kg/m3 - 1.4 kPa.
