The McLaren P1 GTR is a limited-edition track-focused version of the McLaren P1 supercar. It features a highly tuned version of the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and an electric motor that together generate 986 horsepower. The car has a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and a top speed of 225 mph. The P1 GTR's body is made of lightweight carbon fiber and features an aggressive aerodynamic package that includes a large fixed rear wing, front splitter, and diffusers. The car sits on 19-inch alloy wheels with Pirelli P Zero slick tires. Inside the cockpit, the P1 GTR has a carbon-fiber racing seat with a six-point harness, a racing steering wheel, and a digital dashboard displaying real-time data. The car also features a McLaren Track Telemetry system that records lap times and other performance data, which can be analyzed by the driver or their team. Only 58 examples of the P1 GTR were produced, and each one was customized to the owner's preferences. The car was specifically designed for track use and was not road-legal.
