The Mavelot key ring collection pays homage to Christofle's esteemed clients since 1830, who have greatly contributed to the reputation of our House. Crafted from sterling silver, the key ring features intertwining initials inspired by the monograms created by Charles Mavelot in the 17th century. The elegant design highlights the silver's mirror-polished finish, making it resemble fine jewelry. The collection is named after the Marquise de Païva, also known as Blanche de Païva, who led a romantic and adventurous life. In 1866, she commissioned a silver and vermeil tea service named the "Peau de Lion" designed by Charles Rossigneux for Christofle, along with matching cutlery. Today, the Patte de Lion jewelry collection is a direct descendant of this elegant tea service. At the 1873 Vienna World's Fair, the Marquise acquired additional pieces from Christofle. Just like these distinguished clients, Christofle invites you to create your own personalized Mavelot key ring with your chosen initials, allowing you to add a touch of elegance to your events. Please note that a minimum order of 200 pieces with the same initials is required, and the project delivery time is approximately 4 months.
