The Table lamp, Model Area 20, crafted by designer Mario Bellini for Artemide during the 1970s, has become a permanent exhibit at both the VIctoria & Albert Museum in London and New York's MoMA. Its ceramic base and personalized canvas lampshade, adorned with a photo by emerging artist Conti Simone, make it a gorgeous addition to any home. Measuring 49 cm x 49 cm, the elegant lamp stands at a height of 18 cm and a diameter of 12 cm. It uses an E27 light base and bulb with a mirrored top surface. Mario Bellini, an acclaimed architect and designer, has accumulated numerous awards, including eight Golden Compass Awards, and has pieces showcased at MoMA. Born in Milan in 1935, Bellini graduated from Politecnico di Milano with a degree in architecture. In addition to designing furniture for Cassina, B & B Italia, and VItra, he has also designed electronic equipment for Brionvega and Yamaha while creating lighting for Artemide, Flos, and Erco. He has also led seminars and workshops at various academic institutions worldwide.
