The Cab dining chair, an iconic and fabulous design by Mario Bellini for Cassina in 1977, offers exceptional comfort and flexibility for the user. Composed of two completely distinct elements, the chair features a tightly-stretched leather cover over a tubular steel frame. This cover can be opened or closed with the help of four zippers located along the inside of the legs beneath the seat. This versatile masterpiece seamlessly blends among mid-century classic designs and is one of the most popular designs of the 20th century. While Bellini is primarily known as an architect, he has also excelled in industrial design, winning the Compasso d'Oro five times and even having several of his designs showcased in the Permanent Collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. The Cab 412 dining chair is made in Italy by Cassina and features a beautiful Italian saddle-stitched beige cream leather cover. The chair is manufactured in the 21st century and bears the Cassina logo stamped underneath. The chair dimensions are as follows: height 32", depth 18.5", width 20", seat height 17.5", seat width 18.5", and seat depth 15.5".
