This vintage bookcase cabinet is a part of the rare "Donau" series from Memphis design, created in 1986 by Ettore Sottsass and Marco Zanini for Leitner interiors design in Austria. Constructed from wood, it boasts a striking Birdseye maple veneer with splashes of blue and black lacquer throughout. While it does have some minor wear marks, these add to its charm and character, as seen in the detailed photos provided. Overall, it remains in good vintage condition and makes for a unique addition to any interior.
