GUBI offers the Turbo Pendant, designed by Louis Weisdorf, in two sizes and a glossy alabaster white shade. Weisdorf's love for geometric shapes can be seen in this perennial favorite of modern homes and public spaces. Initially designed in 1965 and later produced in 1967, the Turbo Pendant was incredibly popular throughout the 1970s. Inspired by traditional Japanese rice paper lamps, the flower-like orb of the shade consists of 12 spiraling layers, creating an ethereal lightness. The pendant has a glossy finish on the outer edge and a matte finish on the inside, adding nuance to the contrasts of light and texture. This item accommodates 1x 60W equivalent standard medium base LED bulb and ships with 12.5' of white cloth cord. It is not UL listed. Lead time for in-stock items is 2-3 weeks, with additional time required for out-of-stock items. All sales are final as these pendants are made to order.
