The Danish lighting company Lyfa manufactured the Multi-Lite pendant, designed by Louis Weisdorf, a prominent Danish architect and designer in 1972. This pendant is considered one of the most iconic Danish lighting designs due to its multi-layered brass sculptural design. Its customizable shape allows for individual shade rotation resulting in a diverse combination of upward, downward and asymmetrical light direction. The pendant features a core, two cylindrical shaped shells anchored by a large metal ring. Despite being designed during an economic recession, Lyfa produced this model in close collaboration with Weisdorf, as he was one of their designers in the 1960s and 1970s. While it's in good vintage condition, there is another available in a slightly different champagne-like color. Weisdorf also worked with noted designers such as Verner Panton, Acton Bjorn, Poul Henningsen and Le Klint. The lamp will be shipped with great care to ensure the item arrives in gallery condition, with complimentary shipping within the Netherlands.
