The Lotus Europa is a two-seater sports car produced by Lotus Cars from 1966 to 1975. It was designed as a mid-engined road car with a fiberglass body and steel backbone chassis, making it lightweight and nimble. The Europa was powered by a variety of engines, including the Renault 16’s inline-four and Lotus's own Twin Cam engine.
