A solid teak easy chair, designed by Pierre Jeanneret and referenced as "PJ-SI-18-A," is a rare find. This chair was originally crafted for the P.G.I., Medical Research Institute in Chandigarh, India during the 1950s. Recently, the chair has undergone a full restoration, and the seat has been covered with newer cow hide by Phelippeau Tapissier in Paris. Not only is this chair stable and functional, but the cow hide also adds a decorative and unique touch. With dimensions of H: 69 cm W: 57 cm D: 64 cm and an SH of 37 cm, this chair is a remarkable piece of furniture. Its design is showcased in Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret's book, "Chandigarh, India" by Laurence and Patrick Seguin, with the same model featured on pages 206-207, 271, and 285.
