In 1925, René Lalique embarked on the creation of thirty car mascots to embellish the automobiles of the era. Crafted initially from glass, the Victoire Mascot stands out as one of the most striking figurines in the collection. Designed in 1928, Victoire symbolizes peace and was crafted to honor the 10th anniversary of the armistice of World War I on November 11th, 1918. The graceful expression of speed and motion is apparent in Victoire's exquisite features. The artistic blend of satin-finish, clear crystal, and light imbue Victoire with a sense of vitality. Made of Clear Crystal and Black Ebony, Victoire measures H 16.5 x L 43 x W 27.5 cm and is part of a numbered edition by Lalique Maison. Created by Lady Tina Green & Pietro Mingarelli, this design is a true masterpiece.
