In 1934, René Lalique was commissioned to create the interior decoration for Saint Matthew's church on the Channel Island of Jersey. The focal point of his design is a grand cross, standing over three meters tall above the altar. Adorned with the famous Jersey lilies, symbolizing purity and the island itself, Lalique's interpretation of this cultural heritage is reflected in the St. Matthews Cross pendant. Crafted from satin-finished crystal and set on sterling silver, this piece weighs an average of 5.3g in crystal and 1g in silver. With dimensions of 6cm in total length, the pendant comes with a black cord, adjustable up to 85cm, for a stylish and comfortable wear.
