A plaster fragment featuring a parakeet design found at René Lalique's former workshops led to the discovery that he had originally created it for a wax vase showcased at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. Now, the Perruches Vase is produced using the lost wax technique, bringing the motif to life with pairs of parakeets nestled among flowers and illuminated by crystal, giving them a weightless and elegant appearance. The manufacturing process involves several weeks of meticulous work by Lalique glass masters, who pour their talent, passion, and expertise into creating this true work of art. This limited edition piece, crafted in France, measures H 23 x D 24 cm and weighs 5.5 kg. Each vase is delivered with a certificate of authenticity, indicating its unique number among the 49 pieces in the series.
