In 1925, René Lalique crafted a collection of 30 glass car mascots for luxury vehicles of the roaring twenties. These unique figurines, with their distinctive design and limited availability, have become highly sought after by collectors. One of his famous creations is the Longchamp radiator cap, inspired by the "Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe" horse race track, which he designed in 1929 and has now been re-issued in crystal. This iconic piece is often used in Lalique's interior design creations. The Longchamp radiator cap is available in Clear Crystal and Ivory Silk, with other finishes available upon request. It measures H 101 x W 73 x D 73 cm and is part of a numbered edition. Lalique Maison, designed by Lady Tina Green and Pietro Mingarelli, beautifully showcases this exquisite piece.
