The inspiration for L'Oiseau de Feu comes from the essence of the ballet of the same name. The costume of the titular character, designed by Léon Bakst, was the muse for a glass sculpture created by René Lalique in 1922. Today, a luxurious jewelry piece reimagines this vibrant costume using yellow gold, orange sapphire, and fire opal. Crafted from 18K yellow gold, the ornament features two pear-cut fire opals totaling 3.22 carats, two pear-cut orange sapphires totaling 1.18 carats, and 50 round diamonds totaling 1.49 carats (of HSI quality). Additionally, it includes two orange carnelian beads, four white jade beads with engravings, and black jade accents. The dimensions of the piece are approximately H 109 x W 27 mm, and it is secured with a clip clasp.
