In 1928, René Lalique designed a decorative panel for the famous Orient Express train, which transported travelers from the Seine to the Bosphorus. Alongside René Prou, Lalique is celebrated as one of the esteemed artists who adorned this train with artwork. The Art Deco-inspired panel features a mix of geometric and floral motifs, creating a graceful dance with sensual elegance. Clear crystal and polished steel materials are used to craft the panel, measuring H 60 x L 34 x W 23 cm and weighing 14.0 kg. It is equipped with 364 LED lights, consuming 18 watts and emitting 2160 lumens of warm light with a color temperature of 4000°K. The panel is part of a numbered edition designed by Lady Tina Green & Pietro Mingarelli at Lalique Maison.
